A flexible, non-slip solution for outdoor flooring, based on natural aggregates and binder characterized by particular characteristics that increase its performance. It’s called IPM GeoGrip and it is the new flooring system developed by IPM Italia – among the major national players in the production and installation of continuous resin, concrete and natural grit floors for interiors and exteriors, in the industrial, residential, commercial, street furniture and naval sectors- which will be presented at the next edition of MyPlant & Garden, the exhibition dedicated to the world of design, landscape, construction and greenery from 21 to 23 February at Rho Fiera Milano).
“IPM GeoGrip – explains Andrea Penati, CEO e Technical Director of IPM Italia – is the latest innovation developed in the internal research and development laboratories of IPM Italia. It is an innovative outdoor flooring system, that can be installed on asphalt and concrete floors and is also approved for all type 1 roads. It was created to offer the right degree of anti-slip to outdoor spaces and, in addition to giving the right aesthetics to existing flooring, makes it very resistant to wear and percolation problems, making it particularly suitable for outdoor environsments such as car parks, subject to mechanincal and chemical stress”.
In just 2-4 mm thick, the new IPM GeoGrip gives existing flooring a pleasent appearance and, thanks to the natural aggregates with a grain size of 1-3 mm, it is resistant and long-lasting. The system hardens very quickly and offers excellent resistance to wear and the percolation of oil, diesel, petrol and acid in general. It alse resist salt fog and freeze-thaw cycles, with multiples advantages.
In addition to the new IPM GeoGrip system, the complete range of eco-friendly outdoor solutions specific for green spaces, reception places and uban redevelopment will be presented at the IPM Italia stand (Pad. 20P – C06). Flooring suitable for all urban, residential, commercial, sports and agricultural environments: the range includes systems for draining flooring, walkways and secondary roads, flooring for sports environments and cycle paths, where it is necessary to combine performance and a valuable aesthetic appearance.
During the event, there will also be two sessions of practical demonstrations on the IPM GeoDrena Garden system, specific for outdoors and small surfaces and the participation of IPM Italia in the round table organized by MYPlant & Garden dedicated to continuous flooring for outdoor environments.

IPM GeoDrena® Garden, the pedestrian drainage system in grit for small surfaces
IPM GeoDrena® Garden was created to meet the needs of covering small surfaces such as pavements, avenues, swimming pool edges, borders and garden wakways. It canbe laid directly on concrete and pervious concrete, asphalt and natural stone. The concrete slab with slopes is necessary to convey water into the greenery or neighboring drainage systems. Compared to the classic IPM Italia systems, IPM GeoDrena® Garden does not require the intervention of specialized installation technicians: you purchase the “IPM GeoDrena® Garden kit” and can proceed with artisanal installation. A series of simple steps that allow you to obtain 100% draining floor, without puddles or aquaplaning phenomena, with a notable aesthetic impact, eco-friendly and sustainable thank to the fine marble chips. IPM GeoDrena® Garden is resistant, seamless and continuous, and therefore also easy to clean. It is not afraid or extreme temperatures, both high and low.
IPM GeoCem. Draining cement flooring
IPM GeoCem is the pre-mixed concrete for pedestrian and vehicular paving with high draining capacity, guaranteed by a careful selection of the aggregates and the cement binder used in the mixture. It is the perfect background for IPM GeoDrena®. High performance, resistance, anti-spli properties, durability over time and sound absorption are the characteristics that make it ideal for creating paths in sports facilities, park avenues, roads subject to environmental protection, respecting the needs of the territory and the architectura context.
IPM GeoCem GRANY. Architectural cement system with “expose stone” effect
IPM GeoCem Grany is the “exposed stone”effect architectural cement system for continuous flooring, a solution that gives aesthetic value and satisfies environmental and economic sustainability needs. It is easy to work with: the system is installed, then deactivated and finally washed. This highlights the “exposed stone” effect which makes the flooring integrated into the landscape or architectural context. IPM GeoCem Grany is not a draining flooring, buti s created with the appropriate slopes. The surfaces can be customized for texture, color and finish: the variety of colors is obtained with powdered oxides capable of reducing the risk of efflorescence. Like IPM GeoCem it is non-slip, avoids the formation of puddles and ice sheets and is non-deformable under and at high temperatures.
IPM FREETIME. Eco-friendly system for cycle-pedestrian paths and outdoor sports facilities
Eco-friendly system for cycle-pedestrian paths, IPM Freetime it is the specific solution for the paving of cycle-pedestrian paths and outdoor sports facilities, suitable for pedestrian and vehicular transit. Formulated with suitable resin products, IPM Freetime allows you to create new floors and cover or restore old supports. It is suitable for covering new or old asphalt substrates, as long as they are healty and cohesive.
