Comfortable, versatile and resistant, Aquawood by Gaia is the line of floorings, specific for the outdoor world, made by BCG Group, a Bergamo-based organization among the major players in Italy in the field of interiors and exterior wood flooring.
A modular collection, inspired by aesthetics of wood which guarantees the highest moisture resistance as well. The Aquawood by Gaia line is realized in WPC, Wood Plastic Composite, an innovative material made of 60% bamboo fiber, 30% recycled material and 10% reinforcing plastic agents, perfect for external applications such as terraces, porches, poolsides, gardens, gazebos, docks and walkways in maritime areas.
WPC is a synthetic-wood resistant to mechanical and physical stress, combining the nobility of wood with contemporary materials: suitable for any climatic or environmental conditions, it is very pleasant to the touch and can be walked on barefooted because it is slip-resistant, does not splinter or flake.
Aquawood by Gaia is easily matched to any decorating style of the room to be paved, thanks to the twelve available shades. In 2022 WPC Protecta Evo was added to the collection, with slat covered with protective and stain-resistant film and wood-effect side.
Among the technical features which makes this line one of the company’s best sellers for outdoor use are the decorative effect, stability, practical maintenance. It withstands temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C, water and saltiness. Furthermore, it is anti-mould, insects resistant, environmentally sustainable and 100% recyclable.

Gaia WPC decking requires little maintenance and offers a 15-year warranty from fraying, splitting, decay and insect attack.
Four collections are available:
- WPC ALVEOLARE: lightweight and easy to lay, thanks to the honeycomb section, it withstands the thermal expansion well.
- WPC PIENO: sturdier due to the solid section. Characterized by a plot side and a brushed one.
- WPC PROTECTA: wood-effect side and strong brushed one. The stave is covered with protective and stain-resistant film.
- WPC PROTECTA EVO: new 2022, wood effect side. The stave is covered with protective and stain-resistant film.
