The expressivity of the technical flooring meets the soul of real wood
From hotel furnishing to greenery design; from the choice of materials for the interior surfaces, to the design of the bathing establishments: returns to the Rimini Fair, from 11 to 13 October and simultaneously with TTG Travel Experience, the new edition of InOut |The Contract Community, fair event dedicated to the world of contract and furnitures.
On the occasion of participation in the new networking, business and training format dedicated to the world of Contract and Hospitality Furnishing, BGP Group – a Bergamo company among the major players in Italy in the sector of internal and external wooden flooring – presents the complete range of specific floorings for the indoor and outdoor world of the hospitality sector, and a preview of the 2023 novelty: the SmartFloors range of technical floors and the brand new Smartwood line, technical flooring which combines the beauty of wood with the practicality and resistance of SPC.
Presented by BGP Group, Smartwood combines the noble essence of real wood with the indestructibility of SPC mineral panel in a single 7 mm thick panel. Comfortable wear-resistant, easy to clean, silent and also suitable for underfloor heating, Smartwood adapts to any context thanks to seven different colors. Its acoustic cork underlay, one millimeter thick, is designed to offer high sound absorption performance and, at the same time, its five millimeter SPC mineral panel core guarantees high thermal stability: it is no coincidence that Smartwood is also perfect for installation in environments with underfloor heating, the so-called water radiant floors.
An ultra-technical and innovative floor, therefore, which also preserves all the characteristics of a natural parquet: the surface layer in real wood guarantees compositional harmony, aesthetics, comfort of use and walking.
Among the strong points are the low thickness and the covering with a very thin layer of ultra-resistant paint which preserves it over time. Resistant and compact, Smartwood is a featherweight, with all the advantages that comes with it: ease of handling, ease of transport and installation. And the latter is simple and fast, thanks to the 5G click interlocking system and the integrated cork matress.
Smartwood responds to every type of need: from floating installation, to internal environments equipped with doors, to installation in humid environments, such as bathrooms, ensuring durability over time. Also practical for cleaning and maintenance over time: the new BGP Group’s floor is easily washed, like all wooden floors.
Versatile, comfortable, adaptable, with a contemporary aesthetic but also safe: Smartwood has obtained the CFL S1 Certification regarding reaction to fire; the new BGP Group product therefore guarantee maximum reliability in case of fire, preserving escape routes, both in domestic and commercial environments.
