In my projects, light always dictates the design, because light is decisive and improves human relationships.
The new headquarters of the financial agency Fiditalia bbfin in Cosenza is located on viale Giacomo Mancini, main artery of the city road system, in a central and strategic position, where various building has found space in the city.
On the second floor of a recently built building, the new headquarters of the agency were designed and built after discussions and studies with an intelligent and lively client.
Therefore, separating without dividing, a project of natural light above all, creating fluidity and sustainable functionality by designing a long, full-height textured glass wall, in an almost barycentric position of the studio space, solving with the light that crosses and floods everywhere but dividing the offices spaces.
Part of the glass is frosted to guarantee the necessary privacy for the workers. Entering the agency, immediately a waiting area, on the right the strategic full-height glass wall with the operational space, the the executive one (connected), until you reach the executive/meeting space; on the left there are two operational boxes and the services.
The color of the flooring is neutral, it helps to shape the colorless space, only the furnishing and accessories stain the studio space with color.
Well-being in the office also thanks to an air conditioning system designed with a view to energy efficiency.
The, the light designed to ensure visual comfort. An indirect and energy-saving lightning system, reflected by the white ceilings like the walls and the light fixtures, obtaining a diffused light that soothes.
An architecture without color, played on white which characterizes the overall envelope where the design will is continuity of the work of the employees without distinguishing and, when it happens, the transformation form natural light to the designed one still spread harmony and well-being.
The Light Culture!
The office, the second home
Office spaces now require ever higher standards of comfort, they have become second homes, if we always design better, we help reduce travels, reducing costs and times, this too is sustainable design.
