The project concerns the total renovation of a building located in the historical centre of Palermo, whence two suites, a super suite and a dayuse have been created.
“Luxury and elegance” were the keywords of the project, maintaining a minimalist and luxurious style.
Materials and finishes tending towards earthy nuances were used, with just the right touch of gold and black.
Dove-grey tiles make up the flooring in the rooms, contrasting with the dark slate-coloured wall tiles in the bathrooms, integrating bathroom fixtures and bowls in matt, where these elements are complemented by satin-finish steel fittings.
The rooms of the building are equipped with a sauna, aquarium shower, and a whirlpool bath with chromotherapy.
Giving the rooms character and uniqueness was the decision to use wallpaper on the back wall of the bed, each room is different from the other.
Giving further value and uniqueness to the project were the custom-made furnishings: lamps, pendants, luggage racks, minibar, counter, bathroom furniture and bedside tables.
The carpeted hallway has a blade of light that accentuates its length, interrupted by a door marks cone-shaped spotlight.
In each room there is a “golden wall”, which create a common thread between the rooms. This is part of the bathroom system, shields the facilities and serves as a TV stand.
The super suite is different because it has a small private spa inside, with a double whirlpool bath on a raised level, TV, an emotional steam shower and a spacious and relaxing rain and waterfall shower.
