An example of how the project guidelines can tie the classic style with the modern one, taking inspiration from the concept of revisiting gastronomic specialities.
The concept of food in this period is constantly evolving, the dishes are studied in detail without neglecting anything. The dish is studied through color, shapes and color contrasts, combining flavors and emotions for an increasingly refined and demanding public.
It is no coincidence that the evolutionary study of food also leads to a revisitation of tradition, where the classic mixes with the present and vice versa, where the typical taste of the grandmother’s dish intertwines with the flavors of the present.
PRELIMINARY STUDY
Clients aim to create a place that is able to blend tradition, innovation, taste and emotions.
The design guidelines draw inspiration from these factors, they plan to combine these objectives, drawing inspiration from the concept of revisiting the Campania kitchen, allowing them to create an interior design project capable of communicating it.
The result is a room in which the contemporary setting of the property is combined with an industrial design, but at the same time mixes the warmth of rétro linked to tradition, with a hint of modernity.
THE PROJECT
All the traditional details of the industrial style, iron and rough wood, have been the main glue to experiment a union of unusual style but able to give the environment a strong and intense character, respecting and at the same time, enhancing the local gastronomic typicality. It is precisely from the concept of innovation without neglecting the gastronomic tradition, that the project takes inspiration, a dip in the past that adapts to the present, creating a perfect mix of lights, shapes and colors. The study of gastronomic history to bring it to the present day with a different conception has been translated into an architectural key, combining the lines of the past with those of today. As well as the selection of interior furniture that follows the same concept and mixes modern pieces with a more rétro and industrial style.
A combination of modern brands and vintage pieces to create a fresh interior with pieces as if they were collected over time. Vintage, antique and modern furniture, iron and wood tables and coffee tables and barrels with wooden stools have been harmoniously combined.
COLORS

The walls and floor are painted in anthracite gray to add a modern touch to the space while the other plasterboard walls and structures have been highlighted using a touch of intense yellow and burgundy red.
ACCESSORIES
On the sides of the room stands a sequence of sofas upholstered in aged leather that gives color to all the surrounding space. To make the room even more attractive and precious, works by some local artists have been placed, such as the painting with mosses by the artist Mario Castì Farina and the works in iron and wood by Michelangelo Monte.
LIGHTING
The lighting project is entirely contemporary with spotlights that illuminate the whole room, mixing the rétro, see wall sconces, with industrial lighting like the lamps that highlight the sofa area.
OUTODOOR
The search for this union of style was also taken to the outside where the dark iron structures of the signs and railings, combined with an accurate industrial style lighting, highlight the view of the large windows placed all on the street front.
